The gift of prayer is something we continually seek in our lives as Christians. It is the ever changing relationship we have with the Lord and can take on many 'looks' depending on where we are in life. No matter where you are, or where you want to be, aim to take one step deeper this Lent in engaging in the gift of prayer with our Lord. This Lent we as a parish are specifically focusing on cultivating silence in our life as a way to be more attentive to the movements of the Spirit.

- Every Friday we will gather for a soup dinner or fish fry in the social hall from 5:30-6:45pm. At the same time, there will be adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in the church if you would like a time of silent prayer. Then at 7:00 PM Father or Deacon will lead us through the meditations on the stations of the cross. This is a powerful way to enter into the season of Lent.
- We will be hosting 3 conversations during Lent with the goal of fostering a greater culture of walking in faith together. Please visit the webpage 3 conversations for more information.
- Daily Mass is a great practice to take up during Lent and is offered every day (Mon-Sat) at 8:30 AM in the Church, as well as a 6:30 PM on Wednesday evenings.
- XLT is a monthly night of praise and Adoration offered twice during Lent-- Thursday March 6th and Friday April 11th

The ultimate resource is time-- we must create space and time in our lives to sit with the Lord and commune with him. Try to take even five minutes every day to sit in prayer with the Lord. You can bring a bible, a journal, or a rosary, but all you really need is yourself to place before the Lord, our loving Father.

- Hallow App: The Hallow App is a great resource for prayer. It walks you through a ton of different meditatations, readings, prayers etc. and you can use parts of it for free! If you would like to upgrade you may pay for a personal or family plan!
- FORMED: Formed is a Catholic content website with a variety of bible studies, documentaries, faith formation series and more! Our parish has a subscription so that it is free to use.
- Magnificat: Magnificat is a daily guide to the prayer of the Church-- including Mass readings and reflections. This is a great guide to prayer.
- Daily Mass Readings: Engage in the weekly prayers of the Church by praying with our Daily Mass Readings.
