Here are the basics of connecting to live-streamed Mass: Daily 8:30am Mass, Saturday 5pm Mass & Sunday 10am Mass are live-streamed at youtube.com/sttimothymesa. Whether on your computer, hand-held device or smart television, when you see either the thumbnail or slide on your screen, click it to get the video to play (all situations and devices are going to be a bit different; so trial and error work best for new users). If this still doesn’t work and you’re on a computer or handheld device, refresh your browser. Those not familiar with YouTube might want to try in advance of tuning in to Mass. Music is added to the slide that precedes the beginning of Mass, this way you can tell if you’re connected.
In our April 19 Gospel, Jesus stands in the midst of us and says, “Peace be with you!” We pray for that peace today! SVdP is here for you. We provide aid to parishioners and non-parishioners within our Parish boundaries. If you know someone in need or if you are in need, please call SVdP at (480) 733-2790 and leave a message. We will return the call. We help with food, rental assistance and utility assistance. We also provide bus passes, Care Cards for SVdP Thrift Stores, and contact information for other support organizations. The COVID-19 pandemic is affecting people in different ways. Some are having difficulty getting food; some have lost their job and are having difficulty paying rent or utilities. We follow all personal spacing guidelines: No contact via handshaking or paperwork. We can leave food at your front door. If you need financial assistance, we can discuss that via phone. If we need to contact your landlord or utility provider, we will ask you to contact them and give them permission to talk to us. We can also do it through a conference call. We are happy to help. Please call us and know that we are praying for you!
Please join us at 7pm this Thursday for a special installment of XLT live at youtube.com/sttimothymesa. You'll find the usual praise and adoration with a special message from Mark Hart, better known by some as "The Bible Geek." Tune in to pray with us and hear what Mark has to say about "A Light in the Darkness."
Whether you're out of town or miss Mass due to health concerns, please remember that the mission of the Church continues and we respectfully request that you remember St. Timothy with your prayers and tithe. If you cannot make Mass, please see the "Give Now" button on the front page of the website. We've also added a "text-to-give." Text 'Sttims' to 555888 and you'll be directed to our general fund page. A secure drop box is located between the Parish office and the main Church doors. Thank you!
