RCIA Teens
RCIA for TEENS offers high school age youth (9th-12th Grade) the time and environment to be formed in the teachings and practices of Catholicism, and so prepare them for full communion with the Catholic Church through the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist.
For high school teens interested in joining the Catholic Church through the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist, RCIA for TEENS is held on Tuesday nights from 6:30-8:30pm in the Christy Center starting in September. In addition to the weekly formational meetings on Tuesday nights, inquiring teens are expected to come to the 5pm Mass followed by Life Teen on Sunday evenings. Together, these will provide teens with an opportunity to learn about Catholic teaching and practice, as well as grow in in fellowship with others their age seeking to live out their Catholic faith.
If you would like to register for RCIA for TEENS please download the document below, fill it out and return it to the parish office. Once we receive your registration, the coordinators of RCIA will be in contact with you to set up an initial interview with the teen and at least one parent/guardian (the parent/guardian does not have to be interested in becoming Catholic as well, but because we are dealing with minors the parents/guardians must be aware of and give consent to their child inquiring about and potentially joining the Catholic Church). This initial interview is something we do with every participant, so that we can get to know their current situation and so best meet their needs as they prepare for the sacraments.
