Food Truck Friday AND Concert March 17!Spend St. Patrick's Day at St. Timothy!
Bring family, friends and neighbors to our March 17 FOOD TRUCK FRIDAY, featuring recording artist Amanda Vernon from 5:30-6:30pm in the Amphitheater at 1730 W. Guadalupe Rd. in Mesa. Amanda Vernon is a recording artist of soulful pop music. She has shared her original music across the U.S. and in six foreign countries. This singer, pianist, and composer speaks to authentic beauty through music, the “language of the soul.” Originally from the Midwest, Amanda resides in Phoenix, AZ with her husband and their spunky collection of children under age seven.
At age 29, Amanda has over a decade of experience in both studio recording and live performance. Her seventh album, Justice for All, debuted in 2015; the title track won the pop-electronic music genre of the international art competition, ArtPrize. Supported by a growing number of Amanda Vernon Patrons, she releases new original songs each month via her online show, In Real Life.
Amanda's notable performances include:
• 2008 and 2011 World Youth Days in Sydney, Australia and Madrid, Spain
• Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes (Lourdes, France; 2008)
• Regular appearances at the bi-annual National Catholic Youth Conference
• Singing the National Anthem at Lambeau Field for the Green Bay Packers (2014 Bishop’s Charities Game and 2015 Monday Night Football on ESPN)
The food trucks will be set up in the parking lot from 5:50 until 8pm with a wide array of food choices for you to enjoy. Please note, because St. Patrick’s Day falls on a Friday during Lent, Bishop Olmsted gave a dispensation from not eating meat (provided we do some other work of penance).
