Who We Are

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul has been serving homeless and economically disadvantadged populations since 1946. Through home visits, shelter, food assistance, employment services, thrift stores and outreach programs, St. Vincent de Paul provides compassion and support to individuals in need, regardless of race, origin, religion or gender.

Can I really make a difference?

When you join forces with over 6,000 other people who volunteer theri time and talents to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, the answer is most definitely "yes."

Each day, St. Vincent de Paul of Phoenix serves 3500 meals in 5 dining rooms, delivers 1500 food boxes to needy families, provides clothing, furniture and household goods at bargain prices, provides dental and medical servics and provides transitional housing for homeless. How is this possible? Volunteers!

Volunteers are needed for our St. Tim's conference. Some volunteer once a week, some volunteer once a year; however, volunteers share one thing in common:they want to help improve the lives of the individuals and families we serve. If you can help, please sign up today or call our office at 480-733-2790. Training is provided and schedules are flexible.
