During the diocesan required six-month preparation program, engaged couples, registered at St. Tim's participate in either Foccus or Refoccus, and in the UNITAS marriage preparation process. These are administered by both lay people and clergy, and designed to help couples explore the meaning of a sacramental marriage. The Church places a high value on marriage and family, and wants couples' relationships to be permanent, faithful and fruitful. Couples married for three years or more and interested in helping as mentors or presenters are always needed.
