The Dominican Order, officially named the Order of Preachers, was founded by St. Dominic Guzman in 1206. This worldwide community of men and women participates in the spirit, practices, and apostolic works of the Order. Whether young, old, single, married, widowed, divorced, man or woman, the Dominican Laity is open to all who desire to search for the truth, break it open and live it in their lives.
